About Us
After years toiling in the tech industry, I decided to take the leap and follow a passion, wine. My interest in wine started as a student at Cal Poly in the 80s. While most of my wine choices were between a $2 Soave Bolle and Hearty Red Burgundy, the local supermarkets stocked good, then undiscovered local wine.

ORECCHIETTE WITH PORK LOIN AND WALNUT GREMOLATA
This recipe comes from a winemaker friend Swank & Smith wines Gregg and his chef son Carl. It is rich, decadent, and delicious.
PAELLA
This recipe is a combination of several. It can be cooked in the oven but I prefer using a BBQ (Weber) because it cooks hot and fast, browning the rice on the bottom.
FOOD PAIRING
I think the light nature of the Tomaq pinot goes will with a vegetarian dishes. I don’t use a recipe for this so use your judgment for timing and quantities.
